Whats up with the german engineering guy lol he posts everywhere just to bring down people
lol
They like their car and they want a tune.. Let them be... Not everybody likes german .. I sure as hell don't after owning them.

Re: 08-13 Avengers....
Finally people are jumping on this. I always wondered why they restricted power output on the FWD applications, possibly due to transmission strength or TQ capacities. Heck, I was scanning the parameters of a 12 SRT-8 Chrysler 300 the other day and the engine is actually TQ limited! I think it was limited to generate 427ft/lbs of TQ. Can you imaging what would happen it the TQ limit was gone! I know engineering probably did this to help other components survive in long term situations...but when we want more power, we should not have to worry about computer restrictions when it comes to engine output.
The 3.6 tuning in a FWD should be the same as RWD applications. The only difference between the two configurations is the direction the engine faces and the transmission. Obviously long term testing shows the FWD 62TE can not handle the TQ capacity that the 65RFE (Rwd Aps) can handle. Any increase in power may void your warranty if the failure is because of your alteration. OE has to make the component last.....so...
FWD 3.6L applications = 283hp
RWD 3.6L applications = 315hp
Thats a 32hp difference between the FWD and RWD, you mean to tell me that our FWD transmissions can't handle the 32hp increase? How about the software to increase the HP of the Challenger/Charger/300 up 10-15%. So lets say your RWD generates 400hp, now add the DS 10-15% increase, that 60hp at 15% increase.
I don't see what the major issue is with the software other than the transmission programming. The engine is easily tuned as you already have 3.6 base files.
I can data log driving scenarios using my PalmerPerformance software...the info in my last vehicle was used to reprogram the pcm and possibly generate a code

Re: 08-13 Avengers....
Where are you getting 315hp from? RWD V6s are rated at 292hp for the Charger, 300hp for the Charger Sport, 305 for the Challenger.BRR wrote: FWD 3.6L applications = 283hp

So do you guys have enough cars to get the first stages rolling? If everything goes right how long will it take before the tuner be release to the public? I want to have my funds ready opening sale day
Re: 08-13 Avengers....
I haven't heard back from Mike yet, I volunteered my vehicle over a week ago now.

Thanks 200 for helping get this going. I would love to have the chance to do this with me car.let us know how it went if they get you in
Re: 08-13 Avengers....
how hard would it be to get the 14s when you guys get the other years out. I want to raise these shift points there terrible. Also I have a t1000 as a paper wieght till you guys get this going. Kinda upset. I need to know even if theres no tuning can I still use it for the extra gauges and 0 to 60 timer? By the way I also have a 3.6 v6.

Thank you for getting a quick answer. Can I still use the t1000 for guages while I wait?
