FRPP Hot Rod Cam install

Post by kwallace »

I recently installed the FRPP Hot Rod Cams in my 2008 Mustang GT/CS, and Ford recommends adjusting the cam timing from the stock position. I am currently working overseas and not near my car or tuner, but am wondering if I can do this timing adjustment with my tuner? Or will I need a custom tune?

Currently my Predator is set up with canned tunes for the C&L intake. I have adjusted the mass flow sensor for my CAI, but that is all. The cams sound awesome, but I know there is more potential.

You need a custom tune, there's a lot more to it than dialing in the cam timing to make it right and get the most power and drive-ability from it :)

Any recommended tuners near Gainesville, Florida?

Or can you guys package a tune for me?
