Freezing while monitoring

Ok, i see the issue everyone is having with 1t10hc_update.

I'm not sure if it was already established but the canned tunes are missing. The only tunes that are shown after clicking "diablo tunes" are modify stock tune and original backup. In order save the backup your only option is to choose modify stock tune. Choose that and it will begin to save the original backup. After the backup is saved you have the option to opt out of flashing. If you have custom tunes you can now install them with no issue.

I ran into this same issue after updating also so its apparent something has the update file all jacked up.

I see that the update file that mikel sent out has been downloaded 31 times. Has anyone else experienced problems or had a successful update?

I downloaded but didn't install. I'm not touching it with a 10 foot pole with it still having issues. No risk of for my car!

Is Diablosport willing to pay me back for the Trinity that doesnt work like its supposed to? I bought it in December and you still cant get me a fix.

Load the mega crom trinity-1r10.crom, found on the downloads page after you enter your serial number. That should get the tunes back. It worked for me.

won't recognize the file thru the downloader.
tell it to update and pulls up my downloads page but the file isn't there.
get out of downloader get on my comp.downloads page and the chrom file is there.
it's looking for TUNE FILES. *FRG,*FRD,*DRG,*GRG,*LAN,.2CL ?????????
SHOULDN'T IT BE LOOKING FOR THE CHROM FILE??????

Pretty aggravating when we pay that much for the tuner plus the cost of custom tuning and we can't do anything but wait.

also noticed when I open the downloader it says version 2.2.2.7.
the latest download says 2.2.2.8
i deleted and re downloaded the file for the loader and drivers.
still shows 2.2.2.7.
don't know if that's an issue or not.

I am with you here. Class action law suit for full refund. Piece of crap. Let's start a petition. Bunch of crap since day one. Tried it on both my srt8 and ram. No dice......

I would just be happy with an update that works like it's supposed to. I mean it's not like dcx was just released from diablosport. Also no offense to the CS or administrators but a reply to the subject would be nice.

I had replies before, had multiply threads.... i started other threads. The early answers were they never seen or heard of this issue. Their fix was just don't move or use the gauges... When the TCM reset didn't work they said that it really didn't do much anyway.... LOL just pull the fuse for that.... Excuses for everything that didn't work as advertised. Quite obvious, lesson learned. I have 2 vehicles and 2 shitty units. 100,000 potentially being a guinea pig for their pathetic product. Looks neat sitting in the bottom of the glove box. I guess i can put on ebay for a few bucks....
I have wasted enough time reloaded and messing with fixes... You would think the company would be responsible for testing not the people that PAID for working units. Not looking so good. I paid for custom tunes that can't be used because I can't successfully log on either vehicle for tuner to use.

At this point, I would be happy to send my pcm and tool in to diablosport and have them get my custom tune back in. I can't run my '13 Ram without it. If the tool was married to the truck, I don't understand why it can't marry again. No matter what has been done, same error message: pcm error unlock for reflash (-34). Did something change in my pcm? I know you guys are working it out, but it might be faster taking my pcm.

I also had this problem since updating the trinity. Sounds like the fix works to address the freezing but the "diablo tunes" are missing after the fix is applied.
I love my Trinity and have used it for 2 years in my '10 RAM. Today I will, return the car to stock tune. Update the trinity with this crom and then see if the monitor works with stock tune. If that works I'll see about going back the 93-performance tune. Wish me luck folks.

Update - I did this and it did fix the freeze but no tunes now. Trying the reload 1r10.crom step now.

OK - this worked. Here are the step to fix the freeze AND have your Diablo Tunes
1. Return car to stock
2. Apply trinity-1r10.crom
3. Apply trinity_dcx_gas-1r10g-update.crom
4. Apply trinity_dcx_1t10hc_update.crom
5. Apply trinity-1r10.crom again
6. Install the tune of your choice (for me 93OCT Perf

Is the problem with hc with no tunes mean you can't marry it? What if you tried tochange stock tune would that get it to marry the tool so you could upload the custom tunes?

You can marry the tuner. Since there are no Diablo tunes you need to choose modify stock tune. This will save your pcm/tcm backup. After it saves the backup you have the option to continue tuning the modified stock tune or cancel tuning. Choosing to cancel will allow you to upload a custom tune since your backup is now stored. To eliminate any of the issues, freezing, and no Diablo tunes, just flash the mega crom. I mentioned this above.
