1r11 will not save original backup

I just updated to 1r11 but when I try to install a new tune it won't save the original backup. I have a 2012 charger rt.

what does it say when it tries to save the backup?

The first error screen reads " Original Backup NOT SAVED (-30)."

Then the next screen reads " PCM: error verifying backup (1)"

I attached pics of the error messages.

I was able to circumvent the issue by selecting "modify tune" instead of "install tune" so the issue is just if I try going through the process that one way versus the other. I wanted to verify if it was just a one-time glitch but I was able to replicate the issue all three times when I attempted going through install tune.

In any event, I am currently on 93 tune with no issues but just in case anyone else has issues maybe they can get around the problem like I did.

Manny, i see you are in Miami, whats the chances of getting you to come by here with the vehicle and trinity?

I cant reproduce this on the bench, but we'd love to see it first hand.

Im having the same exact issue I have a 2012 392 challenger.

I have previously had the same issue after updating the device. What I have learned is it is always better to go back to the previous revision[10r] and the update to the new one. Give it a try man. Good luck!
