My trinity has a mind of its own...

Post by NKY BULLET »

Just as stated, it will be mounted to my dash on the home page with performance blinking on and off and my fingers are nowhere near it, then all of a sudden it will click on performance itself. I know it's probably just the touch screen glitching out but is there anything I can do to stop it from doing this like disable the touchscreen and just use the soft keys? I would imagine this could cause some problems if it accidentally clicked the wrong option while tuning or something.

Thanks,
Charlie

Update...my screen has totally quit working. I need one of the techs to help me out on what to do next. I can pretty much navigate everything with the soft keys but, while I'm in monitoring mode the only way to get back to the home screen is to unplug it and plug it back in.

I'm running the newest update available as of yesterday on the website. V.1r11

I just bought it a few days ago.

Well it decided it wanted to work again. I guess it doesn't react to cold weather very good. As I was leaving work this morning after my truck warmed up, it started working fine. Anybody else have this problem? I would like to at least know if this is for sure the problem or not.

It got down to around 10 degrees F last night.

I leave my Trinity in my car constantly with Michigan weather hitting below -15F. . . no problems with mine.

Yeah I will keep an eye on it. It's sitting in the house for now until the weather warms up some. If it don't get better, I might have to send it in to get looked at.
