2013 Ram 1500 restored to stock, now transmission issues

Post by gilberjm »

Hello. I have a 2013 Ram 1500 QC 4x4 HEMI 6 speed and about 10,800 miles. I recently restored my truck back to stock and unmarked the intune. Today I realized the 2-3 shift was very odd and not what I remembered for stock form. It isn't shifting until ~40 mph. Before 40 it will just stay in 2nd as if I had it in manual mode. The temps here are also in the -10's which I'm hoping is the issue but it has never done this before. Any help appreciated thanks.

I would likely attribute that to the cold weather...everything in the trans is based on fluid temps...

Thanks mike. That's the answer I was looking for. It just so happened I took the tune out before the coldest day of the year.

How come you took the tuner out?
Same truck as you, and I'm not sure if I'm satisfied with this thing yet
