Diablo sport is a good company having a few problems right now. You can't tell me you weren't satisfied with what you had before you revised your programmer. There was plenty of power. The new tune was not a good one at all and i'm sure the people at diablo are aware of that and trying to fix the problem. Bashing them because of a mistake wont help them go any faster. It makes you look like an ass if anything. The problem will be fixed. They are probably trying to get the tunes out as fast as they can without having any more problem than what they already have. My guess is that half the people on here have probably never worked on a vehicle before in their life. INCLUDING oil changes. Give these people time and the program will be there. And if you aren't happy get a different one. Because if you didn't like it before the r19 revision then your not going to like it now. Probably one of those who are pissed off at life in general and have money and have never got their hands dirty. It takes time to perfect something. Do you want the same problems or do you want these people to do their job and get people off there ass

Batman your a joker man!.........Take some time and read the forum's dude. There is nothing but unsatisfied customers including myself. A Few Problems Right Now? shit there are nothing but problems all the way around . Can you say company that should do there homework. These guys including the CEO do there testing in their back yards. Hey as long as they keep selling tuners to uninformed customers,WHO CARES RIGHT! Hey We Just Sold Another One heheheh Cha Ching. Who cares if are programs f...ed up lets release it anyway. Refund.......you have a better chance of seeing Jesus.......I purchased a tuner new and it wound up being used and VIN locked, their response.....give us $299 and send yours back and well send you a new one . And we will also throw in our latest tune that will give you nothing but headaches. DEAL!!!!!! I have friends with bulldog,superchip,etc,and They all laugh and say you bought what....Predator whats that.......I ask do you have problems with you tuner ? Nope Go Figure Yes im one of those uninformed to lazy to research customers. Nuff Said Im done venting!

Yeah i've had problems. It happened whenever i switched to the r19 revision. But i got help and was sent the r17 tune back until the r20 revision comes out. Yeah i can understand you being mad about getting shafted for buying a used programmer. But sit back and think. Was it their fault? I'm not trying to take up for one side or another. But have you ever had a problem with a vehicle besides this one. Shit happens, but at least their working on it. All i'm saying is stop bitching and let people do there job. Have you ever had somebody up your ass to get something done while your working on. It gets aggrevating and make u either say u know what screw it or i'll just make him wait if he wants to be like that. Yes i have read the post and there are mainly 6 or 7 people expressing there problems or concerns. That doesn't speak for the rest of the people out there that have the programmer and dont have a problem. Seriously the point is give 'em a break. Their working on it

3 votes is the masses? Hey batman I agree with most of what you said but come on it has been almost 7 months since this all started don't you think that they could have fixed this tune by now ? I meen come on if your truck was down for 6 months you would be pissed too! I got a rev 19 from DS that was fixed it works great so I know they will fix it but why not post that fix they gave me for all to use? Maybe the bitching would stop as you put!

On the internet, The people who come here to post usually have problems, this is a tech support forum, not a praise diablo forum. I know there working as hard as they can in there corporate office fixing everything, very hard to do considering the amount of applications they support. They have good intentions at heart, and simply are undergoing growing pains as a result. The fact they are redoing a lot of the old tuners (not very good for business) shows that they are stand up guys.
Every company has there problems, every software company patches there software(even the super polished stuff from apple does), its how they handle them and get them fixed that matters
I get nothing but satisfaction from the answers I get from the tech guys at DiabloSport
What other company actually has there CEO and their engineers care enough to browse the forums to get feedback from customers?

I agree with both of you. And yeah seven months is a long time to have a problem. But what i was getting at was diablo is working on it. The owner got on the forums as requested from all the hate mail. For the most part everybody is getting answers to their questions and their trying to get it right for the users of the product. My point is the problems are being posted which is what this is here for. Not keep threating to go to another company or never use them again. If that's the case go to another company or never use them again. The post are getting pretty childish

Actually your wrong. I stopped all sales of the U7165 when the issues with it were pointed out to me. Until we release the new revision, none of them go out the door period. The sales dept and our COO are bitching up a storm due to backorders piling up and it's alot of money. Oh OK, Good for you guys......now how about taking my tunner back and fix the damm thing so I can use it just once.....I dont care if its your first version or not. There has to be a version for the 7.3 that works you sold thousands of them. Ill gladly pay something for your troubles , but $300 is alittle steep dont you think ? I dont even know what model it is, just that its for a 99-2003 7.3. on reciept it says 5450 sn#2000419 ford_7_3v5r2-p......come on do something to help me so I can see for myself how your tunners work, maby then I will stop all this unnessary negitive feedback!!!!!

to be honest with you, from what I have read of your posts, and that is all I know of you, I would be limited on how much business I would want to do with you. your problem is with the company you purchased the product from, so tell your cc company to charge it back, call the better business bureau, whatever. Everyone has been screwed by a retailer at some point or another, it is up to you, the consumer, to deal with it. For you to come on this website or any other for that matter, is ridiculous. I have been a dealer for these people for five years, and have sold thousands of these tools- including hundreds of the exact one you have in your hand. I have never had one of my customers come back in whining like a child such as you have. I would have given you your money back a long time ago and told you that I didn't want your business, any of it. Ever. I understand your frustration for getting a tool that is locked, but if you treated the people at motor H like you treated these people, there is no way in hell you deserve anyone's help. Yes, people have waited a long time for updates and yes it is frustrating. BUT, I do know how things used to work with the old owners, and things are moving along ALOT smoother/ faster/ etc. I have customers waiting for updates, new tools, etc. I know exactly what these people are saying. There are things taking place and happening quickly. I don't think you realize that you are dealing with perhaps the most intelligent people in the automotive aftermarket electronics industry. If you didn't, you do now. If ford would have released the programs correctly in the first place, we wouldn't have all the updates. So, if Ford releases updates for its programs because it didn't get them right the first, second, TWENTY times (i believe there are at least that many cal updates for 6.0L since '03) its not ok for diablosport to have to deal with that? You need to go pick up a new huffy or put a carb on whatever you are driving. Or just shut up. Ok Mr. DEALER......no ur costomers have no problems in one breath then you say their patiantly waiting for updates? If your reading my post, you might have picked up on the company went out of buisness and have been removed as an authorized dealer....Mr I have been dealing with this problem for along time.....nowhere else to go other than the manufacturer. If you dont like my way of going about getting action as a unsatisfied customer than F -off go deal with all your thousands of satisfied customers. Oh and by the way,since your such an expert on the buisness, please Mr.Dealer explain to me how I could have been a more worthy customer, and deal with my problem in a more customer oriented way! You see if it whould have been taken care of the way you explain you take care of your customers It never whould have got to this point!!!!! Sry Im not wealthy enough to just say oh well I got $400 invested, never got to use it and Im just gonna go buy another and say OH WELL THIS HAPPENS SOMETIMES. If it weren't for the negative feedback, I wouldn't have known how serious the problem really is.
U7170 (7.3L) will be addressed right after the U7165 (6.0L).

I may indeed be an ass but you responded. So your entire retort is to insult a stranger and insinuate that I dont have mechanical aptitude? Brillant. I am an ASE certified tech and have been working on cars since before I could drive. All of which is besides the point. The real point? I have a product that DOES NOT WORK, and in this forum DS personnel are still telling people to update the tuner they have and it will work just fine! Mike himself said it would only take him a couple of weeks to fix it. Me, myself have had a tuner that would not work since last APRIL. I have given numerous chances and spent many hours talking with DS emp[loyees and 'techs' to no avail! My roomate has an 06 6.0 and with the 60hp tune installed, he gets 3.5 extra MPG and has great driveability.
It appears that not all calibrations are working in this manner, which is why we are making the new update.
