Procharged Mustang GT Data log and tuning questions

Post by delinport »

Last year I installed a procharger on my 2005 mustang gt. The kit I installed came with the intune diablosport. After the install, I took the car to a local tuner. He did a few dyno runs and found the engine was running lean in the upper rpm range. The only change he made was to adjust the WOT to +12%. I have not gone below that setting since. I'm wondering if anyone else has had the same problem with the tune running lean? Right now I am set at +8% in the lower rpm WOT and +16% in the higher rpm range WOT. I have the timing advanced 1% global. No, I don't have a wideband. I'm not super familiar with how to read the logs.....I took the one below today. It looks like after I nail the gas and let off the computer adds fuel. The car seems to run okay, but seems to have some heat soak issues. Can someone look at the log below and see what they think?

i wouldnt be adding timing like that unless you feel you know more than procharger or had it on a dyno to confirm safe power...

Mike....How do people normally respond when you make statements like that? While your information may be useful, your delivery could use improvement. I came to this message board seeking advice. Not a lecture on what I may or may not know. I don't know much about your apparent area of expertise and that's why I'm here. I do know that I may not always be the smartest person in the room, but I treat people with respect.

I did check with procharger a year ago about advancing the timing. The timing was advanced during the dyno runs. I was hoping someone with the same model car and same supercharger setup might chime in. I was hoping someone would look at the data log and tell me what they think.....
