timing advance/retard, elevation, shift firmness

I am new to the forum and using tuners, but mechanically inclined. First I would like to say that I am very happy with the predator 93 Airaid CAI premium performance tune. My truck shifts & runs great! I have a few questions and did not see them in the other posts;
1. the timing adjustment is in .5% increments, how many of these increments would equate to 1 degree of timing?
2. assuming the dyno testing you performed was at your florida shop at roughly 0-300ft above see level, would it affect the truck here in Indiana at 700 ft as compared to your testing? I assume not enough to make a difference but thought I would ask anyway.
3. Were there any issues with the F150s which caused you to remove the "shift firmness" option on the predator?
