HELP CAR WONT START

Post by dusterman »

SO im trying to take hemifevers tune vack off to go to dealer for tcm updates. And the t1000 froze after it did its cycle of writing tune on the turn key off. Well I turn key off and it still stuck there for 5 minutes. So I decided to unplug it and try to put the original tune on again and this time after halfway through it tells me original backup failed and gives me a pcm tune failed (-1). Ive tried like 5 times keep getting same thing now my cars dead at work. Everything else turns on but trying to start and nothing please help.

please give us a call with the tool powered up in the car and we'll get you going asap.
On a pc, to get out of recovery, click the top vertical button next to the screen, then choose ok, then go to options, erase the custom tune, and see if that helps it restore.

Thanks

Ok mike you guys need to get rid of your latest update for the avenger and 200s. Everyone on the forums are haveing issues with there tuners freazing up in mid tune install after installing the tire size and traction control updates. Take it down before you have more locked ecus on your hands like mine

What he said is true. It kind of scared the crap out of me. Now I'm a little hesitant to mes with the tuner for fear my car might totally die that time.

I up dated my programmer with this file in the tire size not working post that was provided by Diablo, was that a bad idea?
