Windows 8 Driver Instructions

If you are having any issues getting the Trinity Drivers to install, please follow the attached instructions. After you have completed the instructions re-install the Trinity Drivers and you'll be ready to connect your Trinity to Windows 8.

I figured out how to get to those settings modification options on my computer and I already installed the new drivers. My DSdownloader still has problems when it gets to the "Querying tools capabilities..." step. (ie: it just freezes up, the trinity freezes, and you have to just unlpug and force-shutdown.) My MAIN issue is the trinity gets colored-rainbow-bands-of-death alot. Is this normal? Yes or No?

by the way, if you want to "Disable driver signature enforcement temporarily" You need to push the windows+C buttons, click on the search button in your right side windows options. Then change the dropdown menu to settings and type in the box "recovery options" that will get you to the windows you see in the above^ tutorial. This will get you to "troubleshoot" "advanced options" and "Startup settings." Once you get there, it's like a new-age DOS prompt in which you cannot use a mouse. select the appropriate response which is 7 in this case. The computer will restart afterward.

hold the left button on the device, while you plug the usb in, and continue to hold it while it bots up, it will go to the vehicle selection menu, and from there, dsdl should find it and you can load 1r11.

After I got all the windows 8 stuff taken care of, holding the button down whilst plugging the trinity in made all the difference, when it comes to reading the device. The device needed to be reset so that the DSdownloader could go through the registration process and afterward, download all the tunes, etc. Now it is working properly. Thanks for the help.

Followed the instructions above but still the program is not finding the device.
It's keep seaching.

Which left button are you talking about?

you mean the left part of the circled button which consists 4 buttons?

Just tried this. Any idea why I get the message?: The current language is not supported by the device driver installation wizard. Contact the vendor that provided you this package.
