errors with custom tune

I'm getting the error message; "custom tune write failed at offset 0x40000, size 1024, count 1024, code 27". I have had this happen in two different cases. The first was after I had Rick at Amazon Racing build a quick tune for my car and when I returned home and plugged it into my car it started install on it's own and failed with the message. We reset the tuner and reloaded the original and the new "custom" tune. I then received a message saying that the custom tune would not be used because it didn't match the original. Once again it had started install own it's own. I then pulled the tunes and saved them to my desktop, checked settings and sent them back to the predator and the message came back. Only now it was between the computer and the predator. Now the car originally had a Kenne Bell tune installed and the EEPROMS were supposed to have been cleared, at this point I don't know. Any advice or has anyone seen this before?
