UPDATE SRT8

Post by claude9039u »

I have tried all the updates and 16a is the one I like the best. So my question is I have heard that if you update to 20 them you cannot go back to 16 or 17. Is this true?

I found that out today. if you update your calibration file to install r20 than r19 is all that is available to you. you cannot go back to any other revision

Not if you have an SRT8, those calids have not been updated. The only rev that has different tuning is r20.

Yes you can go back to the older one, the SRT8's have not been updated by DCX so your calid will work fine with both revs.

Main thing we did on the srt8's was add some wot fuel in all tunes, makes it less prone to detonation.

What would a person do for example to make the r16a less prone to detonation besides just updating the versions? Can this detonation issue be handled safely by the adjustments in the predator using r16a ? Sorry for bringing old thread but didnt want to start a new one an was hesitant to just go to r20 ..
