UPDATE SRT8
I have tried all the updates and 16a is the one I like the best. So my question is I have heard that if you update to 20 them you cannot go back to 16 or 17. Is this true?
RE: UPDATE SRT8
I found that out today. if you update your calibration file to install r20 than r19 is all that is available to you. you cannot go back to any other revision
RE: UPDATE SRT8
Not if you have an SRT8, those calids have not been updated. The only rev that has different tuning is r20.

RE: UPDATE SRT8
I have a srt8 06 Magnum could someone answer the question please.
.....?
Sorry to threadjack but R16a is awesome an pulls harder imo an i just upgraded from R14 so it was a difference for sure .........just keeps getting better . I got a 06 Charger SRT8 an wondered about alot of these rev an what exactly does these rev. do for the SRT8 cars only as u go up to date (R20).
Re: RE: UPDATE SRT8
Yes you can go back to the older one, the SRT8's have not been updated by DCX so your calid will work fine with both revs.claude9039u wrote:I have a srt8 06 Magnum could someone answer the question please.

Re: .....?
Main thing we did on the srt8's was add some wot fuel in all tunes, makes it less prone to detonation.Illss1 wrote:Sorry to threadjack but R16a is awesome an pulls harder imo an i just upgraded from R14 so it was a difference for sure .........just keeps getting better . Re: .....?
What would a person do for example to make the r16a less prone to detonation besides just updating the versions? Can this detonation issue be handled safely by the adjustments in the predator using r16a ? Sorry for bringing old thread but didnt want to start a new one an was hesitant to just go to r20 ..johan wrote:Main thing we did on the srt8's was add some wot fuel in all tunes, makes it less prone to detonation.Illss1 wrote:Sorry to threadjack but R16a is awesome an pulls harder imo an i just upgraded from R14 so it was a difference for sure .........just keeps getting better .
