intune update

Hi there,.. I had to upgrade my laptop due to a hard drive issue and I installed a new Windows 8.1 OS (fresh) I was utilizing the Vista Premium OS originally and lost everything. I just now tried to see if there was an update for my diablo-sport unit and it didn't seem to recognize the intune.exe so I'm assuming the file got lost in the upgrading process. My laptop did open up the tunes file that was stored in the unit but there wasn't any connection to the exe. to search for updates. I had updated the unit in December 2013 prior to the hard drive Vista OS on my laptop puking.

When I connect the Diablosport to my laptop now it just turns on like it would hooking it up to my ODB connection,.. do I need link to download another exe. file ???

Hello Mikel,.. thanks for your response.

I'm not quite sure what your in reference to when you say: "diablosport cd rom drive" If this is a stand-alone CD disc you are speaking of I never received one when I purchased the unit.

If NOT,.. then all I can tell you is that when I connect my unit up to my laptop the laptop successfully acknowledges the unit and a file folder opens up showing me the current "log" and program that was installed to my Dodge pickup (Hemi - engine)

I've tried to see if there was some way to enact any Updates by actuating each of the menu icons on the unit itself but failed to find any means to do so,.. Everything was "automatic" as far as linking to your website and downloading updates until I had to install the newer Windows 8.1 OS on my laptop. I'm assuming that whatever "cookie" that may have been installed on my hard-drive with the Vista OS was lost after the upgrade. The unit now will not attempt to look for updates like it did before. I would have thought it would have reacted like an ORIGINAL attempt and done what was necessary to re-install the EXE. file seeing it didn't find one,.. puzzling,...

no, there should be 2 drives on your pc, intune usb and diablosport cd rom, there is no disc involved.
