2012 GMC Sierra - Lacking 93oct / Throttle Booster

[uniquetuning]

Customer of mine bought Intune from us for his GMC 2012 SIERRA 1500 6.2L V8 it was advertised online as having

Performance Tune
87 Octane Tune
Mileage Booster
Modified Stock

And was under the impression it would come with throttle booster also. Its missing that feature and its missing the performance tune. He returned the Intune to me so I could download & email you files if needed or get another update. Please Advise, Thanks mike m

Usually the 93 tune is listed as Diablo tune.

There is no throttle booster for the pre 2014 GM trucks, thats a new addition for GM stuff in 2014, it was previously not an option when tuning these GM PCMs.

Thanks

So there is no way to increase throttle response on the 2012? That was the main reason the customer bought the tuner, lack of acceleration below 2500rpms.

No...

It should wake up a bit from the tune, but there is no direct change you can make to effect it like a Chrysler or newer GM.
