Sorry about the duplicate user name, but I forgot my password & never received an email to reset. Additionally, I never received my registration code.
The issue I'm experiencing is it now says I need to update it (I have several times), then if I bypass the update, it says my vehicle is incompatible (even though it worked the first time).
What am I doing wrong?

Re: Vehicle not compatible / needs update
It sounds like the device itself needed a few updates and might be stopping the calibration update to load until that has completed.
Once the device is completely up to date, you'll connect it to your vehicle and it will tell you again that the vehicle needs an update.
be sure at that point to reconnect the tool to your PC and allow the calibration update to load. Do not bypass the update at the vehicle as this is a necessary step in tuning the vehicle.
If for whatever reason this still does not work, please post a copy of your Intune's info.xml file, which is located in the Intune's drive on your PC.

Thanks.
The PC says it's up to date (checked for updates three times after trying to program the car three times) today.
I'm still having the same issue.

Re: Vehicle not compatible / needs update
dont click the red x, you have to click the green check to tell the tool you want to check for an update, the tool is not requesting the update since you clicked the red X when it told you to check for an update...

Re: Vehicle not compatible / needs update
I did that.
Edit: I did that in the car. It doesn't prompt me to do it on the PC.
Edit2: Tried it from a different computer, same result.

Re: Vehicle not compatible / needs update
Missed the test & tune tonight - any chance I could get some help before Friday?
Is there a way to reset the tool to try to program again?
Failing that, is there any way to set my car's computer back to stock so I can get rid of this tuner? This is quite frustrating.

Actually it's not. Turns out, per one of your techs, that I purchased a DCX that is not a DCX, even though it was sent as a DCX, packaged as a DCX, worked initially as a DCX.mikel wrote:give us a call with the tool powered up in the vehicle and we'll get you going, really is pretty simplehunkaburninlogv2 wrote:Missed the test & tune tonight - any chance I could get some help before Friday?

I sent an email to that tech asking that this tool be replaced with one that actually works. I was referred to the retailer (it's not their fault you screwed up).
Make this right. If I need to tell everyone about my experience with your company, I will. If I need a lawyer to recoup my money and time, we can go that route, too.

so, we're clearly trying to help you, apparently from 2 different directions, and your response is some sort of threat?

Perhaps the tone of my post seemed angry, however given the time & effort I put into trying to correct an issue caused by your company, maybe you could understand?mikel wrote:so, we're clearly trying to help you, apparently from 2 different directions, and your response is some sort of threat?

It seems it's being corrected - we'll see.
Threat? No.
Thank you.
