Just yesterday, my (German) dealer did various software updates on my 2014 Jeep GC SRT, incl. engine, transmission, rear axle differential, heating system, etc..
After the update, he tried to install the Trinity custom tune again and yes, the Trinity has been updated to the latest software but it didn't work. The new "AE" software (this is apparently the code which is at the end of the new version number from Jeep) doesn't seem to be compatible with the Trinity custom tune. The Trinity wants to write back the "old" software, actually overwriting the new one (from Jeep).
Long story short: When is Diablosport going to release a compatible software for the Trinity? My dealer, he is a Diablosport "expert" and long time Trinity dealer, said that it could take a week or so before Diablosport adapts the Trinity to the new "AE" software from Jeep.
Any word on that? Thank you.

OK, it seems that the AE code has something to do with the calibration ID and not the factory software. Apparently only the AD code is supported so far by the Trinity.
Still...I cannot use the Trinity with the latest factory software update, so any ideas how to fix it without overwriting the new software and getting back to the old one?! Thanks.

No, you'll need to let it do what it is requesting to use the tunes.
Thanks

Thanks, Mike. Wouldn't this mean though that the Trinity overwrites the new factory software? I want to keep the factory software update(s) because they fix a couple of issues.mikel wrote:No, you'll need to let it do what it is requesting to use the tunes.

Re: Compatibility with new "AE" ECU software (Jeep GC SRT 20
Any news on a cal ID update ("AE" version) for the Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT???
I really want the latest OEM factory software (many benefits) but I cannot use it because there is no Trinity cal ID update available yet.
PLEASE make it happen!!! Thank you.

Re: Compatibility with new "AE" ECU software (Jeep GC SRT 20
I had the same issue as Rennteam. Have 2014 jeep SRT and dealer updated PCM, TCM etc. Went to reload my tune and stated I needed to update my calibration. I tried using the CROM file in the above link but it kept freezing the trinity on the accept/decline screen. I updated the calibration - looks like it overwrote the vehicle calibration to the AD version. Updated my Trinity to the latest main crom update - think it is the 1r12 and overwrote the version in the above link.
Question- by the Trinity flashing the vehicle back to the AD version. Did I loose some of the new PCM updates from the dealer and when I revert back to the stock tune, is there a way to get the AE version back? Just want to be sure I'm getting the right updates and using the latest Trinity tune.

Re: Compatibility with new "AE" ECU software (Jeep GC SRT 20
Hello, any response to my question above? Did updating or flashing the calibration ID through the Trinity override what the dealership updated. And if so have I lost those updates? Or was this just a flash so the Trinity could talk to my Jeep. Looking for a response so I can be educated on what occurred.
