Just Purchased intune. Cannot run dataviewer program

Hi all.

I purchased a brand new intune on Saturday. Naturally the first thing I did was plug it into my laptop and allowed it to auto update. Took about an hour, but no problems there really.

So I decided to do some data logging on my vehicle. After I had done that, I went inside to download the data viewer program to figure out how that works. My currecnt laptop (notebook) is a 3 month old ASUS X200CA which utilizes windows 8 rt; so I thought my issue was because of that. The error I am recieving after downloading and then trying to launch the program from my desktop icon is :

"C:\Program Files (x86)\Diablosport\DataViewer3.3\Dataviewer.exe

The application has failed to start because it's side-by-side configuration is incorrect. Please see the application event log or use the command-line sxstrace.exe tool for more detail"

I searched online for this type of error(I am not a computer guy by any means), and found a couple issues that seemed similar. I tried thier solutions but was still unsucessful.

I then broke out my old dinosaur laptop which is an HP, with full version of windows vista; It is encountering the same issue!

Anyone run into this before and have any ideas? I'd really like to be able to look over my log data.

I had the exact same issues as above. I downloaded the data viewer, did not launch at finish, came back here and grabbed this download you mentioned, installed it, then went back and launched the data view and everything works great now.
