predator not loading backup.

I am trying to tune a 2000 mustang. The predator the car has shows the last tune written to be the Diablo tune. When I try to install the original backup it will not let me. It says you started the vehicle but I am not starting the vehicle. Also when I look at the vin it gives me lots of fffff's. What could be wrong.

was this the first time you've ever installed a tune on the vehicle? does the vehicle start and run at this point?

My customer said he put the tune.

Yes it starts and runs. Just runs rough because it needs a tune.

it sounds as though the tune is already installed in the vehicle. please have the customer give us a call with the tool plugged into the vehicle to further assist him.
