You know that is the first time I have seen you actually say what the hold up is. Why was that so hard to say??? I for one feel much better because I would not want a programmer that could not do these functions. Hell, I bought the Edge just to monitor the MDS and am contiplating buying the SC Tirepaq just to adjust for my 35" tires all while waiting for the Diablo. I just hope it is all worth it in the end. Thanks Mikemikel wrote: We do not yet have the ability to change gear/tire sizes, so we will wait until we can do so before releasing the tool.

Thats why we need the new hardware.
I have stated numerous times that it had to do with all of the different PCM/TCM combos used in the trucks...guess I never mentioned the specific parameters we needed the hardware for.
Thanks

Thanks for the reply Mike. Didn't mean to ruffle your feathers just trying to get answers and seeings how asking nicely wasn't working for anyone I decided to take a unconventional approach. WORKED.mikel wrote:Sir, you simply do not understand what you are talking about here.johnnyk416 wrote:I keep hearing empty promises. You say your programmer is capable of all kinds of stuff, but we have yet to even see something from you. How long have you been promising a DR preditor???mikel wrote:LOL, and they already have stated that tuning for forced induction will not be possible for at least a while...we've already crossed that bridge....

Thanks
Hell you have had 3 years now to produce something and yet there is still nothing. I mean really how hard is it to get this hardware you keep refering to. No other companies have had problems getting it. Seems to just be an out for you guys, because the real reason is probably that ya don't have the tuning down yet.
If it was that easy, why is the market not flooded with tuners for Hemi vehicles that support custom tuning?
Why didn't SCT release a tool 3 years ago?
These things take time, real time, engineering time, testing time, and then more testing time.
Whether or not you believe it, we have tuned at least 10 Hemi DR trucks here in house. We picked up solid HP/TQ and mileage on these trucks.
We do not yet have the ability to change gear/tire sizes, so we will wait until we can do so before releasing the tool.
Thanks
So again sorry for the attack, just wanted a solid answer.

The tuner should have very similar functions as the one for the cars, if the rear 02 logic is the same as in the cars then yes it will do it, most likely it is.

REAR O2
If you run a OBD scan when the rear o2 sensors are shut off the scanner, or emissions scanner, will say the cats are not ready , so the tech will tell you to drive the vehicle for how ever many miles to get them ready, but they will never be ready. That's what happens when you turn off the rear o2 sensors.Black05Hemi wrote:Mike, can you at least say if the tuner will turn off the rear O2 sensors?
The best bet is to google o2 simulaters or spark plug non-fowlers.
I have them, no CEL...

I already have non-foulers, and they aren't working...It's annoying...I'm throwing bank codes

RE: REAR O2
i tried them too, then tried mil eliminators (little splice in transistor) neither work, not even in combination. the truck needs this tuner. the long tubes with no cats makes the sc tune run super rich.

I would think it would make the truck run lean??HEMIFISH2004 wrote:i tried them too, then tried mil eliminators (little splice in transistor) neither work, not even in combination. the truck needs this tuner. the long tubes with no cats makes the sc tune run super rich.

don't know what's up with that double print there..Black05Hemi wrote:I already have non-foulers, and they aren't working...It's annoying...I'm throwing bank codes
I took 2 non-fowlers. In one, I drilled out enough for the o2 sensor to properly seat, then screwed another one into that one. Same for bank 2. Now, I had no codes for 4 months and I check my DCTS pretty often.

At WOT 4000 RPMS To redline I'm at 12.5, Dynatech LTH w/ midpipes and high flo cats, and from 2000 to 4000 RPMS im at 15. I'd like to be at 13 at wot through out the power bandHEMIFISH2004 wrote:i tried them too, then tried mil eliminators (little splice in transistor) neither work, not even in combination. the truck needs this tuner. the long tubes with no cats makes the sc tune run super rich.
with that, give me a couple of hundred rpms of the idle, shoot the timing forward a bit, and let me have 6 nuggets with honey mustard, that's it...

Hey Mike any update?????????? You do reallize that SCT has successfully tuned an '04 DR right
. I know they can't do anything with forced induction and I really don't care about forced induction I just want a tuner that will work with my cold air and lean me out (I.E. Superchips)
, and I don't want to have to pay out the A$$ for it. So how bout some info on your progress
.
Thanks

But, we are currently testing the new hardware here, and should be done soon.
The Predator will be the best, most cost effective means of tuning your DR trucks.
