newb questions here

Sorry for the newb questions this is my first tuner. 2012 Charger 5.7. Ive heard many horror stories and dont want to be one of them. Tuner should be here tomorrow I hope.

- I know it can take 20-35 min or so (what ive heard) to upload tune.

-Im worried about the battery going low and pcm sensing voltage drop that could potentially happen.

-My friend suggested instead of a battery charger (which may not KEEP the batttey at 12v) hooked up just hook up jumper cables to the battery to an extra battery on the floor. He says this will be better than hooking up a battery charger?

- Again sorry for the newb questions, I just thought I would ask here where everybody is knowledgeable. Thanks!

battery charger is fine.
It shouldnt take that long for your 2012, the 13-up models take 30+ min for the initial tune load.
