2010 Chysler 300C 180 thermostat CEL

I am using a Trinity to tune each of my Mopars, a 2008 Jeep SRT and a 2010 300C. I run a 180 T stat in both. No problems with the Jeep but the 300 keeps throwing a "P0128 coolant below temperature code". I am running the 87 octane MPG canned tune which I really like, as it works well with a drop in KN filter and RT muffler, giving a nice blend of performance and economy. The Jeep has a custom tune and has never had an issue with the T stat. My question is short of getting a custom tune is there any way to make an adjustment so that I don't keep getting the P0128 code with the 180 T stat? Thanks in advance for any help with this issue.

Get a decent 180 stat from NAPA and throw the JET away. JET T-Stats have zero quality control and often throw codes because of poor warm ups.

So a different thermostat is my only other option?

Its probably your best option. You could have a tune written to turn the code off, but if you ever have to run without a tune, you're back to square one.

Post your Last Tune Written. They can turn the code off in the tune for now.

Thanks for the input Mike. For now I'll post the last written tune (tomorrow) and run that till I can do a T stat change.

I loaded the tune today. I plan to hit NAPA up for the Tstat you recommended and install it down the road. I'll post a follow up when I do. Thanks again Mike and thanks to Diablosport for continued great customer service. (That's a big part of why I have Trinitys for three of my vehicles)
