Headers, rockers, Fastman TB.

Post by my2013rt »

As of now my 2013 Challenger R/T with 6 spd has straight pipes, catch can, and the 93 oct Diablo Tune installed. This winter I will be installing a set of BBK tuned length shorty headers, a set of Arrington roller rockers with 1.7 to one ratio, and I will be sending off the TB to thefastman for a CNC port job. My dyno guy is 40 miles away from my home. Will it be an issue to drive the car that far to have it tuned with the above listed mods as long as I putter along like an old man? Or would you suggest I have it towed?

I dont think it will need much tuning for those mods....

Personally, I'd wait and save for longtubes, and skip the rockers, but thats just me :)

If I skip the rockers I'll be able to get long tubes from BBK for a similar price as the rockers.

thats the ticket.

The gains from the minimal added lift of the rockers will be way outdone by the gains you'll see from some good longtubes and a custom tune :)
