Adjust WOT Fuel

Post by Dragon23 »

Is there a direct measured effect to AFR by the amount added or removed, in other words what would -10% do to 10.1 AFR is this just a number that you keep changing till you make change.
From 2000 rpm I'm going to WOT, it dips to 10.1 then slowly climes up, at around 5000 to red line I'm at 11.8 which I will stay at till I have a dyno done with tail pipe wide band to measure properly
I did -8% -2% and left last range alone, it had very small effect, I'm on a custom tune from inertia for srt max cam
I'm wondering if i should have them send a revision or keep leaning the 2 ranges a bit at a time. The car runs great I think this much I'd like to try my self and learn a bit.

10% at 10:1 would change it by 1 point, 10% at 12:1, would change it by 1.2 points, etc.

That's great thanks, does it take effect right away or does it have to adapt to it ?

So I took 8 % 8% away, at 2000 rpm I go WOT, with out slamming it to the floor, my wide band goes to 10.2 then slowly leans up, and the curve up was longer than my last adjustment, -8 and -2. Should I just focus on the 1- 3.8 k or next range as well. Does it tend to be rich on initial WOT and smooth out
