Will flashing my computer back to stock fix my problem

Will flashing my computer back to stock fix my problem
I have a stock computer in my srt4. It has a slightly modified cmr tune in it. I tried to put my other stage 1 computer back in the car. Somehow my predator became unmarried in the process. I can't get the stock tune back into either computers, and I have the backup for both on my laptop. If I take my car to the mechanic and have them flash the stock pc back to stock will that fix the problem?

It shows the vin number of my car, and the calid is the same as the backup file I have on my laptop.mikel wrote:what is the calid and VIN in the last tune written menu of the tool?

the tool is married to the stock (non-staged) 04 srt4 pcm, it should be able to restore the stock tune to that PCM.

Re: Will flashing my computer back to stock fix my problem
If I try to put a tune into that computer, after it tries to get the backup it tells me "tune not saved, the tune appears to be a predator tune" If I try to get the original tune off the stock computer it wont let me, and if I go to last tune written it tells me "not married, nothing to show".mikel wrote:the tool is married to the stock (non-staged) 04 srt4 pcm, it should be able to restore the stock tune to that PCM.

so, the tool is not married? I am honestly confused.
If it says not married, nothing to show, then there is no calid in the last tune written menu.

Re: Will flashing my computer back to stock fix my problem
I'll double check when I get home. If that's the case and the predator is unmaried, and there is a cmr tune on the computer allready. Is my only option to have the computer flashed to stock so I can pull the stock file off of it, and therefore marry the predator to it? Thanksmikel wrote:so, the tool is not married? OK, then there is nothing to restore.
if one of the pcms has a tune on it, the tool will not ave that as a backup. If it is a stock pcm, we can force a cal update to get it back to stock.
If its the Staged PCM, I cant do anything with it with the Predator, you need an inTune or to send the pcm here.
Thanks

What do I need to do to get you to force the cal update?mikel wrote:OK, then there is nothing to restore.
