Can someone explain what's going on here? I returned my car to stock and took it to the dealer to get a ABS light looked at, they replaced a wheel sensor and sent me on my merry way, so I update my Trinity while it's not married then go to re-install the 91 tune and I get a message that says...."Your calibration is 68139870AF and it is not supported. We need to downgrade to 68139870AD in order to continue. Ive never seen this come up before, did the dealer update my car and the Trinity can't work with the new calibration? I went ahead and let the Trinity downgrade me in order to get my tune in, I'm just wondering what is going on here. It's a 2012 Challenger R/T Automatic.

Well I did let the tool update the calibration, but I still got the error, your saying I need to install the calibration update then install the tune?

I had the same problem with my trinity after a PCM change at the dealer . I ran it without modifying the tune for three months to make sure the problems that caused the PCM replacement were gone . When I attempted to install a tune the trinity said "your calibration is 05187932AF and is not supported we need to downgrade to 05187932AD in order to continue "with an "agree" and "disagree" button .

I disagreed and got "Trinity dcx_gas does not support calid 05187932AF" "Tool update might be available"

So I updated the tool with DSDownloader . which told me once the tool was updated rehook to vehicle and press performance tune to complete update .

I did this several times but kept getting the Your calibration is ..yadda yadda yadda .... we need to downgrade ...

So I let it down grade to get the tune in . How do I get it to go back to 05187932AF and be able to tune it ?

OK, I had the car at the dealer again so I re-installed the original backup, now I am getting the same "We need to downgrade to 68139870AD in order to continue"
I've looked and looked and can't find this "cal updater button" you speak of...where is it????? I've also updated to the newest DS Downloader.
The only button that says update is the big Tool Update button and when I click on that it wants to find a file on my Win 7 computer.

DSDL will NOT auto connect when I attach the tool even though Auto Connect and Select tool on start up are checked in the options, if I start dsdl myself it finds the tool fine. I tried several different ports too. I also just uninstalled/reinstalled all latest USB drivers and DSDL and still no luck, all that happens when I attach the tool is the computer detects it and the tool will turn ON and flash the Performance page.

OK, I checked and they are installed, I even installed everything on my Win 7 laptop and it still won't auto connect if I just plug in the Tool???
It connects fine if I manually launch DSDL so the drivers have to be in right? Could the tool be messed up?
I even manually downloaded the latest 1R13 update file and used the Update Tool button and it did update some image files and stuff but when I went out and hooked the tool to my 2012 Challenger R/T I still got the message "Your calibration is 68139870AF and it is not supported. We need to downgrade to 68139870AD"
What do I have to do to fix this!!!! Is there a way to force the tool to display the "cal updater button"?
Dodge updated the software and I really don't want to downgrade to get a tune in.

Nothing to show.

Last thing I did with it was re-install original backup tune before taking it to the dealer, then they updated the calibration to a newer one.
