Can't Restore Original Backup

Post by dechief4 »

Attempted to restore the original backup on my '13 Ram 1500 Laramie, as I am taking it in for a bunch of dealer work on Monday AM. Plugged in the tool, selected Tune Vehicle/Restore Vehicle and got this error message: "PCM Calibration for <VIN> might need an update." Hmmm. Hit the red 'X' to try to get it to proceed without connecting to internet and the tool complained it did not have any backups for my VIN (I can see the back up files when the tool is connected to my PC)

OK, took tool inside and updated it. It did find some updates that were applied. Went back out and tried again. Same result (including that it didn't have any backups for my VIN). Tried to 'Force Calibration Update'. The tool complained that it held an original backup. WHAT?!?!?! OK, then tried to 'Force Original Backup'. This resulted in the tool saying it needed a PCM calibration update for my VIN and didn't do anything, once again.

Attached is my info.xml.

Would be great to get some assistance (if at all possible prior to Monday...).

Thanks!

Odd, not sure what the issue is here but I am sure we can fix it with a quick phone call if possible.

I'm happy to report that I was able to contact tech support yesterday and Diablo was able to reset my Intune and get it to properly restore - and then re-tune- my truck.

Thanks, Guys!
