yeah, Frank lives in Ohio, so your stuff will be different due to elevation, climate, etc etc etc...

Like SickRED said, you still want to shoot for the same numbers as we did with your GXP - LTFT's get dialed in so that they're between 0 and -2...

maybe those were the settings/numbers you were asking about and I got confused????

I never said I liked you... LOL I am in Texas... its flat an a pancake here... I got 28.6 with stock tune and DOD??? Window sticker on my car was like 27? Corvette gets 28 with LS2? So unbelievable...?

oh.. about your tune files... I have a feeling that the KR tables in your first custom tune didn't get "adjusted" like mine are, so I'll compare the tunes and if not, I'm going to make those same KR table changes to your tune file and send ya a new custom tune...

the KR tables I'm referring to have to do with how much timing it pulls out when KR is detected (we'll make it so it doesn't pull out as much), and then also the KR recovery rate - how fast it gets back down to 0 once there IS kr (we'll make it so the KR goes away faster)...

we'll be in touch and I'll letcha know what I find...

all i know is that it is said to be the same as the one they put in the GP i had from 2001, just beefed up?? Don't get me to lieing, I think it must have 2:90 gear at least in it. 100+ in 2nd gear @ 5900 RPM.

Lew now that sounds like you should be on the Payroll I like that answer! WoW just when you think the guy has done it all for you he pulls this out of his hat. Yeah something it a miss everyone I sent those screen captures to has told me something is wrong. Even been told to not worry about it, your answer is by far the most impressive so far and seems to make perfect sens to me the "anal thinker"..

k man... I created a new custom tune for ya... should take care of all your troubles...

here's what I adjusted:

adjusted fans.... come one earlier and at more power to keep your engine running cooler...

Timing/spark table... it was WAY OFF, even from stock... points where it should have been about 5, it was at 24!!! so, I adjusted it back to stock/my settings

knock recovery rate - adjusted so it recovers from KR faster

knock attack timing - adjusted so it doesn't pull out as much timing when KR IS detected...


I left the other settings alone.. you had adjusted the rev limit and your injector slope.. those settings are still in this tune - even though the predator will show 0 if you go to modify it - just like it does for any custom tune file.

anyway... I'll email the new tune file to ya, so you can import it to the predator as a custom tune and then install it in your GXP...
