Car Service - Need to Restore Original Tune or not?

Hey all,

I just got my DiabloSport Intune DCX and so far so good, installed the 91 Octane Tune and there is a definite change in the performance of my Dodge Charger but I will definitely be playing around more with it and possibly do a custom tune from one of the guys recommended here on the forum...

But my question is this, I have read mixed reviews on what one needs to do if you take car for service at dealership, do I need to tune back to original or is that unnecessary?

always restore the stock tune if it is going to the dealer, for any reason.

Also is there a significant performance difference if I move to the Diablo Tune (Octane 93) from the Octane 91...what specific things are changed on Diablo Tune, timing, fuel ratios etc? over the 91..

the 93 tune commands more timing than the 91 tune for use with better fuel

The OP had a good question, that I've been searching through the forums for myself. On the Intune DCX, what are the primary differences between the Diablo Tune and the 91 Octane Tune? I'm trying to figure out which one I should be using? I have a heavily customized CAI and incredible exhaust. I run royal purple lubricants, and have several chassis upgrades. Just trying to find out if any of the included tunes are good, or if I have to have a custom tune made.

the diablo tune is for 93 octane, and has more timing commanded than the 91 tunes.
