In tune won't read PCM original backup

Trying to install a tune on my 02 chevy Silverado 2500 and the intune keeps giving me error codes saying it can't ready the original back up

pull the radio and disconnect the aftermarket harness used to tie it into the factory harness, and try again

yeah, anything aftermarket, anything that didn't come from the factory, has to be disconnected/pull the fuses for 'em...
