Cannot figure out Predator model number

Hi Guys- To make a long story short, I picked up a used Predator but I can't seem to find the model number on it to update it. I was told its for a 2005 Ford diesel, but its labelling doesn't really show this with conviction. On the front (near the bottom) it says "Ford Performance" . It has a white sticker on the back that says "FORD 6.0" and when I boot it up it has a screen that says" 'Kros operating system' then 'booting ford 6.0' then 'Diablosport Powerstroke 6.0 liter' and then finally 'Predator v.7r45' ". When I go to the support page for downloads there doesn't seem to be any reference to this number. As near as I can figure, its a U7160 but I want to make certain before I try to update it or else it'll probably be toast. If someone more knowledgeable than I, can give me an answer, I would greatly appreciate it.

That is an OLD U7160, has been out of production for about 4 years.

Only option for those tools is to send them in for the $99 hardware upgrade to convert it to a U7165 for 03-07 6.0

Thanks, Mikel for your prompt reply- after doing some other reading on the forum I was wondering: since I have to do a hardware upgrade on this unit anyway- can I have it upgraded for use on a different make and model vehicle for the $99 fee ?

hi there, I got a used Diablo sport tuner but I don't know if it will work in my car . it doesn't says what motel it is, it says PERFORMANCE on the front of the tuner and it has a white sticker on the back. please let me know if you know what model it is. thank you

You gotta boot it up. It'll say the model number on the top of the screen.
