99 GMC Sierra 5.3 fans not showing up

Hi All-

I've got a set of LS1 fans and a harness and am going to install them on my truck. Part of the harness is connecting up to 2 pins on the ECM for proper factory control of them. The main website page shows full fan control for my model truck with the 1000 but no fan options show up in the adjustable parameters. I do know that the fan controls have to be enabled in the ECM before they will work of course. I was assuming since that shows a supported adjustable parameter for my truck that I could just enable it and adjust the settings. After some reading it seems that I might need to have my tune modified to enable it first.

I do have a couple of questions though. Once it is enabled will the adjustable fan parameters then show up? I'm assuming they would since the 1000 states that the fans are an adjustable parameter. If I eventually sell this truck and put the stock tune back on will the fans then be dead as well? I'm permanently removing the clutch fan so what I'm wanting is the factory tune to have the fan functions permanently enabled, as well as having them enabled in the 87 and Diablo tunes. I'm just unsure how it all works - for example if the fans have been enabled in the stock tune would the device detect that and have them enabled if I load the 87 tune or the Diablo tune? I mostly run the 87 tune since I don't want to always run premium gas. I have attached the stock tune and the current 87 tune if that helps.
