Hey Mike, this is a little off subject , but my I installed a 190deg T-stat in my '11 Ram Hemi (Just wanted to avoid some of the issues some people were bringing up with the newer style trucks and 180 stats. The 190 seemed like a good choice since it is 13deg less than stock, but not low enough to possibly cause threshold errors) and removed the clutch fan. Truck originally had a 203 stat from the factory. I set my cooling fans under all settings to turn on at 199.something. I just made that number up thinking 10degs over the thermostat setting should be acceptable. Am I wrong in my thinking? Should it be something else? While driving, the natural air flow allows my truck do cycle nicely from 190 down to the low 180's and then back up like it should. Only time the fans come on is if the A/C is on, or if I am sitting at a stop light or something.mikel wrote:lower them all by the same amount, about 20*
Hey just forgot it for now at least I am facing the same problem you have. The fact diablosport doesn't support fan settings for new jk with 3.6 pentastar. I have been waiting for fix from them since December 2013.ma7romal7ob wrote:I am about to install my new rpp 180 thermostat to my jeep jk 3.6, can you please advice me what is right fan setting for the new satat? the stock thermostat is 209 F and the new one is 180 F, should i lower all of the fan setting by 29 degree or what you recommend me to do?
thanks
