2010 4.8 4L60E WOT shift points

Anyone know the best wot shift points/ whats work best for you? I have a 2010 4.8 silverado with cai, ported tb, tbs, shorty headers, 3in true duals, 3.73 gears, and a custom tune from LEW.

If you were told you have a "custom" tune, there should be no need for you to have to adjust anything. The tune should be perfect for your truck. Seems in your case, the tune may not be very custom if your shifting is not correct and yo uare looking to adjust it on your own?

To find the best WOT shift point, go to the track :)

If not, get it on a dyno and set the shift points right after the peak power.

My custom tune is just for shift pressue not so much shift points. Shift points were left at stock. I was just wanting to know what others have done. I changed them to 5700 1-2 5700 2-3. It works fine for me, like i said i was wanting to know about what worked for other people.

shift settings are personal preference... everyone likes something different.. if the settings you have are good for you and you like how it is, then you're fine and can leave it alone.. if you don't like how it shifts, then play around with it to get it how you like it..

when I redo your tune for the new intake manifold, I will send you a new custom TCM tune too and see how you like that one...

Thanks lew. Ive played with a little bit but i didnt want to do to much and mess something up. Dont get me wrong, i like the tcm you gave me, i was just curious what shift points worked for other people.

If you paid for, and were told you got a "custom tune" BUT it's ONLY for shift points, that's not very custom and you can do that on your own. Sounds like you got a bad deal somewhere.

his custom tcm tune has a lot adjusted... shift pressure, shift points, torque management, shift quickness, etc...

don't know why he said it was only shift pressures, because that is most definitely not the case, heh...

when he installed the CANNED/PRESET tcm tune, THAT one only had shift pressures changed... but that is not the case with the CUSTOM tcm tune at all...
