I-1000 issues logging stock ECU

Post by Migander »

I had issues with logging the stock ECU.
Values were totally invalid.

I started this new thread with a different subject that is more relevant to what was going on.

Copied from previous post:
Migander---
Will the I-1000 data-log the stock ECU before loading a Diablo canned tune?
2003 Dodge Ram 5.7.
I tried to data-log before loading a tune, the rpm and battery voltage are super high.
RPM in the 10,000 up to 63xxx range.
Battery is 500 to 6xx range.

06MonteSS---
yes, it will log any supported vehicle without installing a tune...

Current post---
Believe I found the issue with the logs being wrong.
After parking my truck in the shop (just in case) I did a "tune vehicle>write vehicle".
Intune responded with "PCM calibration needed".
Plug Intune into PC, run update, get PCM calibration.
Plug Intune into vehicle, write vehicle, (PCM calibration only)
Record and write a log file, values appear to be correct now.
