6.2 L Listed in 2015 Catalog

Post by rkuzniewski »

I noticed the 6.2 L Hemi was listed in the 2015 Catalog. Is there a tune coming down the pipe for the Hellcat? I thought I heard someone say the Hellcat had a rolling code so it would be harder to crack. Any thoughts???

Its listed since we have to print the catalogs a few months in advance, there should be an * next to it ;)

We hope to be tuning them eventually, for sure.

Probably not a great idea to add more power since so many people are destroying them with what they have. Things should have been AWD or had less power. Your average schmuck has no business driving a 700hp rear drive car on the street (or any where for that matter).

Opinions are like assh_les everyone has one! It figures you are a New Yorker! You wouldn't have anywhere to drive a 707 hp vehicle!

No, but I had plenty of places to drive my 650hp CTS-V or 630hp X5M. I also have a dozen performance driving courses under my belt, so I should be driving high power vehicles. You think people with no training should be? Like the schmuck who took his to the track and ran a 17 second 1/4? Get real!

I used to street race in Brooklyn back in the early 70's and I raced Modified Eliminators at Englishtown and National Speedway. No performance course needed, just track time!!

Performance training is something anyone should take, if they track race. I know a lot of people who think they can drive because they had enough track time but truth is, they THINK they can drive. Proven to them so many times.
As to the Hellcat engine equipped cars: Real monsters and not something beginners or unexperienced drivers should drive, even if they had track time before.
My weekend toy is a 2014 Ford Mustang GT500 Shelby with 765 hp (dynoed) under the hood and while this car is fun, the real wheels spin even in third gear at 200 kph (125 mph). Even worse when there is cold weather outside and I don't even have the OEM semi-slicks anymore but Pirelli PZero for safety reasons.
