First time update problem

So I got the intune dcx for my 2014 ram and it said upon plugging that software update is required. I connected it to my PC and started the update then a message popped up saying that the device will reboot and not to disconnect. Clicked ok and then nothing happened for the past one hour. The PC screen shows a message do not unplug, updates loaded in intune. It will reboot automatically . This process may take several minutes, please be patient.

Help.

disconnect it from your pc.. wait 30 seconds.. then reconnect it, and it should start up where it left off...

That's exactly what I did and it worked finally. My truck is perfect now with bigger tires .

how long should it take for the first update im having this same problem been about an hour. unplugged it plugged it back in still not done?

can take a while if there are a lot of updates that particular one needs... as long as there's activity on the intune screen, just leave it alone and let it do it's thing..

got it to go through, there was no activity on my intune screen it was just a blank screen with the intune logo at the top and question mark. but everything is good now thanks
