feels like it's being held back...please read

Post by xbxjunkie »

i have a 2012 ram 1500 with a hemi and currently running the 91 tune. the truck is bone stock, but i have a throttle body and CAI waiting to go on, with a possible exhaust in the near future. my question is when i'm at cruising speed and get aggresive on the gas, the truck downshifts but it feels like it's being held back? before the tune it didn't feel this way......ideas? or is this normal until i do the following bolt-ons

I'm having the same issue on my 2014 Challenger R/T. Here's my post from today. http://www.diablosport.com/forum/viewto ... 37&t=50357

High rev, not much snap in acceleration.

@xbxjunkie

Thought you might like to know that I adjusted my throttle boost today on the 91 tune. I increased it to 10% and it made a huge difference. Give it a try.

Log the ST/LT knock retard and try to replicate the scenario.

If you have more than 2 ST or ANY LT knock retard then you need to work on that first.

Try it with traction control off, and on to see if you get the same results.
