intune for 2013 Mustang

Post by Club »

Hello Diblosport people and other guys. Maybe you can help with some advice?

I am wondering if the Intune can fix my situation with a Mustangs automatic transmission?
The car is 2013 Mustang 3,7.
Basically I feel the transmission behaves. It has that self learning period when the trans resetted. During that period everything is ok. After that it seems like the transmission thinks everything too long. Kickdown works funny, like it starts to engage a lower gear and then thinks it over and goes for a even lower one. And then for example when I park the car and use D and R in turns for many times, it starts to bang the gearbox a bit. Feels like the oil pressure builds up if it is even possible?

All the flashes have been done by dealer. There are no faults codes or any clues that something is wrong. No recalls on the VIN.
The car feels strange, been to the dealer every week to reset the gearbox :)

Wondering if all Mustangs do that? And would the Intune help me?
Maybe Diablosport guys can tell me, what happens with that learning period after the tune is added. Is that function deleted then? And does the tranny gets it specified software which stays unchanged and would not be affected with how I drive.

Thanks ,

Or can any Diablo guys assure me that when the Diablo tune is installed, the PCM doesn´t overrun the transmission learning program in time?

But how would your intune affect the tranny?
At the moment I´m not sure about the purchase.
