no update after 6 hours

I plug it in and it shows up on my computer. (win 8.1) I click on cd drive diablo. Get intune pop up and it loads updates on pop up and says don't unplug. Ran 6 hours+ nothing happens. go back to unit and check firmware and its the same and nothing has changed. My intune i1000 never comes off the first screen (Tune vehicle-scan tool-settings) from start to 6 hours of running. I bought this in 2013 for a 2010 Silverado 1500 with a 5.3 and I just bought a 2015 Silverado 2500 with a 6.0. I have to update to use and it wont update. Thanks for any help...

if it never rebooted, go ahead and manualy reboot it then it should start importing the updates, dont let the updater run after you reboot it.

disconnect it.. wait a few seconds... then reconnect it...
