technical support?????
just got an intune for my 2010 GMC Sierra, and when I plug it in to my truck it loads and then I hit tune vehicle, write vehicle and it says turn key on and then it says vin database error and wont let me do anything. if anyone has any advice on what to do I would greatly appreciate it being as it is impossible to get ahold of tech support and I have sent a few emails with no response so far

Have you tried updating the tool? If you haven't might be why your having an issue.

I have plugged it in several different times to my computer and let it sit for like a half an hour and the device itself will be at the home page and the window on the computer says updates are being loaded and it may take several minutes but it never does anything. any idea what the average update time is?

The first time I updated mine it took a LONG time no idea exactly. I left it overnight to be honest. After the first time you update it usually doesn't take long. Just got a lot of catching up to do on the first update.
