I just made a new copy of it from the backup file.

I just tried what you sent me, and unfortunletly the toll cannot connect to the car.

I still the same 'Unable to communicate with PCM' message

This is really puzzling.

if you erase the custom tune will it let you load a canned tune?

After removing all custom tunes, the tool still does not communicate with the car.

Same joyfull message : 'Unable to communicate with PCM'

tool is not happy it seems, may be time to upgrade to an intune or trinity.

Well, I do not mine getting a new Tool but I would like to understand in advance.

how would that work ?

How would I get my car to the Original Backup state ?
How would the programming from the EDL7135 would be transfer ?
Would my Arrington tune made for the EDL7135 would atill be applicatble ?


I do not want to end-up with a 2 tons paper weight in my driveway.

if the predatr will not allow you to restore, we can se the new tool to get the pcm back to stock, then you let it read out the stock tune, send it to arrington, and they can make a tune for the intune.

Stock, to me, is the original Back-Up, and this is not the current state of my car.

I would just want to have a tool married to my car in the same way the Predator EDL7135 was.

My car is now set-up with wath was in that Predator, set by EDLEBROCK, with your V.9r05 update.

So I would want to be able to deaply the V.9r05 to go to Orignal Back up and re-aplly the V.9r05 at will, like I was able with the current predator

How do I do that ?

I would not want to get an Arrington tune in my car before I can get the Toll and the car properly match with the right set-up
