T-1000 is already married?

So I just bought my diablo t-1000 from 4WheelParts over on 1960 in Cypress, Texas. As soon as I plugged it in, and clicked performance, it said that my vehicle needed updating, and that the tool was already married? I looked around and saw that it was used in 2013!! Now I thought I was buying a new product, not a used one that doesn't even work. Am I going to be sent a NEW one? Or is this going to be fixed. I've tried tech support, but I've been on the phone for over an hour and decided it wasn't worth waiting however long it was going to take. "Live chat online" Isn't an actual thing, and support takes forever to respond.

you need to take it back to where you bought it and let them know.. if it's indeed used and locked, they should exchange it.. but you need to go back to where you purchased it.
