Help-Vehicle not supported?

Just bought a second hand intune i-1000-DCX

1. I now realize the DCX version is for Chrysler vehicles. Will this DCX unit work on a GM car? (Cadillac CTS-V)?

2. After I checked for updates (there were none needed) and plugged into the car it says that my vehicle is not supported. I have attached the info file here. I have a feeling its still locked to the old vehicle? If thats the case and I am able to get it unmarried, will the DCX model work on my GM car?
