How can I Get my Smokin Trinity fixed?

Hello,
I had pulled the tune off my RAM to have it serviced. After I got my Ram back from the dealership I plugged the T-1000 back into the truck to re-tune it. As soon as I turned the key to the ON position the Tuner started to smoke and went blank. Now the tuner no longer works, Won't even power it on when I try to plug it into the USB on my PC. actually the PC complains that it's pulling to much power from the USB but the tuner doesn't even light up.

Fortunately the truck is fine.

I am not the original owner of the tuner. Also I cannot read the serial on the label on the back since the label it to faded and since the tuner no longer powers on, I don't know how to get the serial.

So do I have any options to get the Tuner repaired? If so how and how much?

serial is in options/show info, out of warranty repairs are generally $99 + shipping, please fill out the return form on our site under support.

If it won't power up, he can't exactly go into option/show info. Do the Trinitys still have the second sticker on the circuit board? I believe they're the ones that used to, unless it was the Predator.

Guess I missed that, the serial is on the sticker on the label, if you cant read it just enter 000000

Yeah the sticker label is way to faded and it doesn't power up. So 0's it is. I will go ahead and set up an RMA. Thank you.
$99 is So much better than having to buy one brand new. It is completely awesome that you guys are willing to support your product even out of warranty and I greatly appreciate it.

I am curious have you guys ever seen one of these release the magic smoke like that before. Kinda thought maybe it was something to do with the truck, But I have since plugged in couple scan tools to it and had no issues. I would love to know once I get it repaired, If there is something I can do to keep it from happening again.

most likely the connector went in sideways and caused 2 pins inside to touch each other, and if one is hot and the other is ground,....poof.

I didn't know that was possible. Ill be sure to watch out for better in the future. Are you talking about the OBD side or the trinity side of the connector? Should I buy a new cable?
