TRINTY 2010 FORD RAPTOR

We have customer 2010 ford raptor 5.4 and after trying twice with updates the vehicle revs up & down and will not stabilize.
Ck engine light is on as well. We don't have the code at the present time but will get it.
Is this an issue that has come up before. Thanks

you mean you load the tunes and wind up with an idle fluctuation?

Is there a cold air intake or other mods on the truck?

Hello,
the vehicle has an kn air intake and cat back exhaust system.
customer never checked the code but once he put it back to factory stock the code did not reappear

so stock tune with the CAI still installed and it idled fine?

I have not seen any idle issues that weren't related to a CAI, it would seem odd that it didnt still idle poorly with the stock tune.

is the trinity up to date?

After installing the latest update the vehicle still hunts idle in gear. In drive it will hunt from 500 rpm to 650.
When in reverse it is hard to back up due to the inconsistent idle hunting.Put vehicle in stock tune no issues and before tuner was installed the cold air and exhaust cause no abnormal driving.Customer wants to return unit but package gone and we prefer to see if there is a fix.Thanks
