Question from the rookie

Guys,

Help this rookie out please. I am very new to this "tuner" world. I have an 05 mustang GT. Just got my U7140 tuner in the mail the other day. I have two questions.

1)I have a Ford racing CAI that I want to put in before I load the tune. I dont see a paramter for that anywhere in the instruction manuel. Am I missing it?

2)This spring I want to put a BBK catted X pipe on which will be my last modification. What do I have to do once that is done? I didnt see anything in the instruction manuel. do I just hook up the tuner and make a modification or will I have to order a "custom tune"?

1. select the FRPP tune from the list.
2. Disabling the cats will require a custom tune from a CMR tuner.

Today I just loaded the 91 octane tune. I put the Ford Racing CAI before I did this. I did not see anywhere in which I could program into my tune that I had a CAI. Now the check engine light is on. Can you help me out please?
