No bus code

I have a 2011 charger rt with a trinity 93 canned tune. I have a 3.92 Getrag so the only parameters that were changed was the gearing. Cars run great for months now. this evening while going to pick up dinner I plug in the Trinity while driving and my dash lights up and I get a no bus code. Pull off the side of the road and unplug the Trinity and the car runs fine. Shut the car off and start it back up runs fine. Plug in the Trinity and the same thing occurs. No bus signal. I have no idea what is going on here. I only get a no bus code when the Trinity is plugged in. Please help

sounds like a bad cable most likely.
