Tuner arrived today... have some ???'s

Hi All,

I received my U7135 today (Hurray)! I have a couple questions:

It's cold as hell here and I don't think installing the 180 thermo is a wise idea right now so I was wondering if I can still upload the 91 CAI tune even though I still have the stock thermostat?

Assuming you have the latest version (crom) installed r20, you can go ahead and use the 91 CAI tune. Previous crom versions had the fan settings lowered. Once the weather warms up there you can install your tstat and use the tuner to modify the fan settings. There are several posts already that you can search on as well. Have fun.

It came pre-installed with r20. Will my fans operate normally, even if the weather warms up a bit before I have a chance to change my thermostsat?

fan settings are stock settings on r20.

No problem. Your fans will operate normally with the tune.
