Just starting and I screwed up already

Post by Trailerboy »

So I had this bright idea that at 10:00 on a Saturday night I would take my brand new Trinity T1000 Dashboard Tuner and Gauge Monitor out of the box and following the "quick start guide" load the "factory hp tune" and blast around the countryside. The first message I got was something like "not supported" and proceeded to perform a backup. Then it said I needed to export the backup using DS Downloader and call 561-908-0040. If that was all that happened it would be no big deal. The car won't run at all now. It shows a bunch of codes including reduced engine power and dies immediately upon starting. Can someone talk me through this? The car is a 1999 Corvette with a manual transmission. Thanks, Kent

factory hp tune is just a copy of the stock GM tune, it's not a performance tune at all.. it's the stock tune..

and try disconnecting your negative battery cable from the battery for about 10-20 minutes, reconnect it, then see if she fires up...

and yes, you'll need to contact tech support at [email protected] or 1-561-908-0040, option 1 for tech support... Mon-Fri, 9am-6pm (EST).
